Pulsing Flow Gas Turbine System (PGTS)
PGTS represents a technical solution for practical realization of extremely high efficiency extraction of rotational power from pulsing exhaust gases of internal combustion engine.
The operation of PGTS is based on the physical phenomenon of high energy transfers between pulsing gas flow and ambient gas medium. The phenomenon provides PGTS with the ability to capture up to three times more power in comparison with the known gas turbines of turbochargers or turbocompounds.
Thus, PGTS provides for fuel savings from 10% to more than 20%, depending on the given engine operation regime.
